The final concept is unique and elegant, it features a handle configuration that simulates the fencing sward handle (Hilt), designed for more agile and satisfying shaving experience.
This is a kids water bottle with patented non-spill technology for 4-8 years old. The kids will hold the button to drink, and the bottle will be automatically sealed once button is released. This product’s unique function and sporty, friendly appearance has been well loved by parents and children.

A wrist watch concept, that enables user to connect it directly with computer through USB port for data access.
This is a Laser printer designed for home and small busyness use. With existing component, the task is to refresh the look under the guidance of HP branding language, and keep the printer in line with HP other printers in the market.
We started this the project with learning the HP brand language, and opportunities available to update the design. After ideation sketches, the concept “bucket” emerged and was selected.
A series of foam models were made to refine the key appearance features on this printer: the surfacing relationship between the outer wrap and the inner core.
This product is now on the shelf.

The first headphone design is to follow the whimsical direction. It features back painted glossy shell, silicone ear loops and a thin cylindrical band.
The second design addresses the minimal trend, it has metallic frame and leatherette panel.

Karaoke microphone concepts for Logitech. This is a device that works with Sony PS2 station. The design language ranges from Sony style to Logitech brand look. The concept in the middle is selected to go into production.
Logitech asked us to refresh their desktop microphone line for another five years. The project goal was to update the look while accommodating both stand alone and attached to the monitor mode.
A bicycle with integrated, lengthened seat which allows the rider to adjust posture while riding and prevent back muscle and arm muscle fatigue. The looped handle also provide versatile ways for arms to rest on.
This is a foldable, flexible digital camera for girls age 15-25. The silicone over-mold material gives it a tactile touch while also enable the camera to be folded. Users can put the device into their pocket or hang around their neck as jewelry.
A therapeutic device for children who is physiologically detached from parents for one reason or another. The design of the crib emulate the experience of the unborn child in the womb, that is warm,nurturing and safe. By re-experiencing the womb, the child is reunited with parent’s love, and as a result, regain the feeling of beloved, safe, and supported.
A school project, I was asked to explore the form of an existing product, and I chose the paper punch.
Even though I liked how durable and cost effective the current product is, I was not satisfied with the product’s aesthetics and ergonomics. Being part of stationary product, the paper punch looks very “industrial” and is often difficult to use due to the narrow metal handle.
Thus, I proposed to create a punch that focus on the product aesthetics and User experience.
The explorations range from geometric to organic, utilitarian to sculptural.
This is a project to design an everyday object for disabled people. My concept is a kitchen knife that is intended for single-handed use. The spring loaded side attachment helps to press down the objects, and prevent them from sliding or rolling away while cutting.
